In 2025, I’d like to invite people to purposefully read more dense and/or complex prose.
There is nothing wrong with
reading slow or reading something multiple times.
There’s no shame in looking up the definition of words or writing out plot events to analyze their importance.

Not an artist at all, but I’m gonna try to learn how to do pixel art. I followed some basic tutorials today, got acquainted with Aseprite, then tried to copy something I found online. Predictably, I can copy lines but I struggle with colors. Day one

A Complete Unknown is pretty good, standard biopic fare but with a few incredibly good scenes. But Ed Norton was fucking magic in that movie! Just incredible. He should at least get an Oscar nom

If one needs to sleep for ⅓ of their week sleeping, and a further ¼(minimum) is spent working, then nobody should ever worry about having enough money for basic needs. That’s more than half your week, every week, gone. Too much time to have to spend any more worrying about bills.
