Our biggest problem is about to be complying in advance by people/institutions across the US healthcare system, with immeasurable harms. They need to be supported, inspired, and as necessary pressured to push back in the face of what they will see as a swirling miasma of financial and legal threats.

The difficult part is how disability and chronic illness are used as justification for Ai. The community wants and needs it for medical applications, accessibility and early detection.

Flyers and posters at the radiologist’s office (standard checkup) about how they use AI to detect cancer and the (justified) public hysteria around it has me having to remind myself this is the GOOD kind of AI that actually saves lives and is an enormous step forward in medicine and not evil

In reality we could drastically limit covid transmission with the following:
- Masks in healthcare
- Clean air in public spaces
- Free vaccines, tests & respirators
- Paid time off

This is the next phase that Kiwi Farms members have stated they will do - constructing look-alike blocklists and then adding popular trans people to them after the fact, once the blocklist is seeded in the community. Make sure any block list you use says who runs it.
