Following up on this. This remains a ‘cave is minutes or hours away’ situation. If you want to impact how this plays out you need to contact senators literally now. I want to add additional points of context. What I’m relaying is what I’ve picked up from highly reliable sources.
Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.

i had chronic shoulder pain for most of my 20s and 30s after getting beaten with batons and thrown to the ground by Boston Police as a teenage protester so I can genuinely understand the trauma and suffering that Federal officer went through having to smell mustard and onions, really awful stuff man

I honestly don’t understand why there isn’t a staffer whose job is to propose a statutory fix for every possible SCOTUS decision each term.
There’s a long list of statutory reforms that Dems failed pursue last time around (including fixing Bivens and voting rights) but we should make sure that we add amending the CRSA to eliminate channeling, clarifying jurisdiction over grants, and reforming the ICA the queue.
