REMOVE THE REGIME rally in DC just now.

Rep Al Green - “As your member of Congress, before we take the break for Christmas, I give you my assurance that there will be articles of impeachment filed against this president.”

This is the energy. #Resist

The weirdest online arguments I've been in are a tie between the woman who thought you could grow enough corn in an apartment closet to feed yourself and the guy who said me and my "pack of harpies" would be crucified along I-95 by the coming fascist regime for disliking Thoreau.
Far and away the weirdest online dispute I got into was with someone who strongly disagreed with my belief that there will never be time travel because we haven’t heard of anyone doing it. If it became possible it would become so common that we would have experienced them already.
One of the weirdest online arguments I had was with a hardline Israeli right winger who insisted modern Egyptians were not descended from the ancient Egyptians because the Arabs had genocided the whole population after conquest for being pagans

Exactly this:
Socialism is what they called public power.

Socialism is what they called social security.

Socialism is what they called the growth of free and independent labor organizations.

Socialism is their name for almost anything that helps all the people.

In case anyone needs proof the timing of the House resolution condemning socialism was intentional:
1. lol

2. today's White House meeting with Mamdani is currently scheduled as "closed press," which means it might not be much of a showdown

BREAKING: The House of Representatives voted 285–98 in favor of a resolution condemning socialism.

Friends call your Senators and House Member and demand they work against this outrageous betrayal of Ukraine and Europe.

Every Dem elected at every level of government should be denouncing this rancid appeasement of Putin.

President Donald Trump, friend of convicted pedophile and sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, has demanded the death of his political opponents.

If that one sentence isn’t enough to condemn, remove, convict, then there’s no crime that would enable Republicans to grow a spine and uphold their oath.

Putin confirmed Russia has received the 28‑point U.S. peace plan and said it could serve as a foundation for a Ukraine deal. Yet he stressed it was only discussed in broad strokes and that detailed talks are still required.

Really, what a timeline.

Russ Vought is openly admitting this nomination is a front so he can stay on at the CFPB while he tries to shut it down.

Instead of lowering costs for Americans, Trump and Vought want to make it easier for giant corporations to scam families out of their money.
Trump picks new CFPB director amid efforts to close agency
The nomination of Stuart Levenbach was a "technical" maneuver intended to extend White House budget director Russ Vought's oversight of the agency.
