I agree and I fear that more cis women could begin to direct their resentment and anger at the wrong people. We have to go into this fight back-to-back with our trans sisters and direct that anger and mistrust outward at the misogynistic, controlling cowards using trans women as scapegoats.
Transgender bathroom bans are about slowly making every woman afraid to use a public washroom bc it gives strangers the authority to police who is or isn't feminine enough based on some mythical idea of what makes women womanly. They are using trans women to test our resolve and we are failing.
