i think adding a lot of mozart's life (tho obvs with the source material, still liberties taken) added a lot of flavour that deepens it. but god i wanted this to be gayer

obviously i still prefer milos forman's adapation of AMADEUS but something about the new will sharpe & paul bettany one adds some flavor. and some gay. and a lot of diversity.

It really cannot be emphasized enough that the Holocaust was modeled after the American campaign to displace and exterminate Indigenous people. This country drew up that blueprint.
Fascism isn’t new to the US. It’s always been here. It’s built into this country‘s DNA. Bigotry is our primary export. We just quantified and qualified it under the false title of ”freedom” because that’s what the masses here want & what (yht) ppl with guns & bibles as their personality like to hear
No kidding. I remember when our local government wanted record stores to track names of everyone buying metal records. (Maybe rap too and I’ve just forgotten?)
(Why do I remember this? A good friend of mine owned a record store, and as a new librarian I had some strong opinions, and ideas.)

One of the most joyous feelings in the world is when your local elected officials are happy to see you show up for the small, but vitally important, civic meetings that make a community run. Even better? When they *hate* to see you show up.
I really can't emphasize enough that if you care about local politics, all you gotta do is show up. Just a regular schmegular person showing up. Literally just show up consistently in person and within a remarkably short amount of time, you will have a shocking amount of influence.
