"Seizing Brexit opportunities to deregulate" was mostly unspecified magic fairy pixie bullshit then, and it's not going to get any more realistic in the hands of a bunch of Reform clowns who don't know how anything works, don't care to learn and disdain anyone that might.

But no money to lower your healthcare costs.

Here's the founder of Blue Labour, Maurice Glasman. As well as being McSweeney's mentor and the architect of Starmer's disastrous pro-Brexit flagshagging strategy, he's also a diehard MAGA Trumpist who counts Nigel Farage and Steve Bannon among his closest friends.

Since Brexit, we've had Trump 1.0, Covid, the energy crisis, Russia's war on Ukraine, war in the Middle East, Trump 2.0, massive new tariffs and barriers to trade, and rising global costs of borrowing.

That's enough for Labour to break their tax pledges.

But not apparently their Brexit red lines.

In short, Brexit isn’t "over". It’s a quiet crisis.

Until we admit its fingerprints are on today’s struggles, we won’t demand real solutions.

Some problems won’t heal until we fix the foundations.

The EU - UK deal is welcome, but overly cautious. Without at least rejoining the single market we won’t turn the corner on the 4 to 5 percent of GDP (and the corresponding £40billion lost tax revenue every year - think about what a difference that would make!) caused by Brexit.

If you ever wanted a metre-read on British stupidity..

We regret Brexit by 55 to 45.
We conclude, nationally, correctly, that Brexit was a big mistake.

And yet at the SAME time, Nigel Farage - architect of that dismal failure - is polling ahead with Reform.

Sometimes I feel bad for the content, tweets and snark that I put out, like what is wrong with me? Am I devoid of shame? Why do I feel this incessant need to overshare on the internet?

And then I read that Kanye tweet and I’m like “y’know what I’m alright”

I can see the UK clap in Fascism. Your young men are getting hit 24/7 in social media. At the beginning of WW2 a large part of the UK wanted to capitulate to Hitler .The USA fucked up because the Democrats forgot to represent the left. Trump stole them. Labour are doing the same thing 😔
