I was in the immense Canadian D-Day cemetery as young French school kids read a poem to Canada's fallen.
"We are your children we are children of liberty."
A D-Day vet stood up and said to the students
"don't weep for any man here. We would do it all again so you could be free."
This is Canada.

It looks like the Toronto Sun made extensive revisions to a Joe Warmington column about Justin Trudeau getting ambushed at a ski hill

New version adds quotes from Emily Duggan rationalizing her actions, cuts 344 words criticizing her for swearing at Trudeau in front of his kids

I’ve been a doctor for more than 20 years & this is the first time that I’ve seen a paediatric stroke awareness campaign (from the American Heart Association). Gosh, what could possibly have changed in the past 5 years* which is increasing the risk of paediatric stroke?

*Spoiler alert: it’s COVID

Your move, Canada.

The more high-speed rail built around the globe, the increasing urgency to build Canada's Quebec City - Toronto corridor.

And while we're at it, let's add Windsor to the mix and generate more tourism $$ & trade connections to Michigan and nearby states.

It’s interesting that Andlauer made a direct comparison to New Jersey in talking about maybe getting his pick back. As a fan, I felt a “yes!” reaction, but soon I felt it might have the inverse effect if Bettman is angered by it. If he already thought it was impossible, though, why not. Thoughts?
