Mark Carney’s Liberals were not elected on a mandate to gut Canada Post, but they’re doing it anyway.

The minister intervened to begin the process, now management has now submitted a restructuring plan *in the middle of collective bargaining* that it refuses to share with Canadians.

In all honesty I think the key is keeping company that is diverse in terms of both identity and age.

People will check you in different ways. You may not agree with them, but at least it keeps you honest about who the underlying beliefs benefit and are sustained by
I'm actually getting worried about this. Because I'm pretty sure this is how the reactionary brain worms come in.

I'm almost 42.

....how far away are the brain worms?

Hockey men: “The NHL isn’t a development league”

Marty: I will develop young players AND veterans while developing myself as coach.

Someone telling St. Louis he won’t succeed at something is basically a guarantee he will make it happen out of spite.
Habs coach Marty St. Louis on going from youth hockey to NHL:

“The youth level it was easy. Just roll the lines, everybody played the PP. It was fun, let’s go. At the NHL level, you gotta be a little bit more calculated. I feel like I’ve come a long way and I’ve got ways to go.”

If you work full time from 18-65, that’s only 47 years. Taking on debt for longer than you are supposed to work and have a career should be remarkably obvious to everyone as untenable.
Ingraham: Is a 50 year mortgage really a good idea?

Trump: It’s not even a big deal. You go from 40 years to 50

Ingraham: 30

Physical: 100 is a genuinely intriguing show with the worst editing possible. Could cut 1/3 of the show without losing anything.

If only the democrats had the stomach to get their billionaire donors to help the American people afford food while the government is shut down to avoid caving to fascism. Or help organize mutual aid. Or do literally anything for the people they pretend to care about.

Everybody--rightly--praises the three fwds on the Kapanen goal, but the D were equally indispensable.
Under heavy forecheck pressure, facing their own goalline, they ate it w. clever body position while gaining puck possession, moving it D-to-D then to the fwds, all at speed

The Hub is an extremely suspect company. No one should be taking it seriously as journalism.

Meta clearly trying to polarize the issue of digital sovereignty by running this in the Hub.

If we needed more evidence that Projet Montréal isn't a left-wing party, this tweet captures it. Mamdani has never emphasized equity or inclusion (liberal concepts), but the redistribution of wealth and power from the wealthy to the working class (in all its diversity).
