The issue here is people view this contextually. If they believe ICE is going after gang, criminals, they don't mind doing this to people obstructing deportation. If you understand they are going after decent non-criminals, then you view this differently. Officials have to educate its the latter.
This is what all our *currently* elected officials should be doing, and not nearly enough are.
