Cost of Trump's D.C. Occupation: $1.1M per day.

Cost to operate public housing for D.C.'s entire homeless population: $169,226 per day.

It's not about what this country can or can’t afford.

It’s about priorities.

Are you a lawyer who is barred in DC? Do you know a lawyer who is barred in DC?

Send them this. NOW.

The election for the DC Bar president is underway, and MAGA AG Pam Bondi's brother is running and nazi praising interim DC US Atty Ed Martin's deputy is running, too. We need to defeat them both.
My big takeaway from tonight’s DC Bar president candidates Q&A is that Pam Bondi’s brother is exactly who you think he is, and it’s very important that DC lawyers cast our votes for @whatajlp.bsky.social by the 6/4 deadline. Search your email for “Vote Today in the D.C. Bar Election” and do it now.

So, best we share all the footage we can here!

This was last night’s massive demo against Erdogan’s government, which follows the arrest of his rival Ekrem İmamoğlu.

People need to be crystal clear about something: The requirement that the government ANSWER to a court on the legal basis for detaining someone is literally the core liberty right (habeas corpus). If the government says they don’t have to do that bc “national security,” YOU can be disappeared.
