I'm sure others have pointed it out, but there it is in a nutshell. Elon Musk and his ilk think human society cleaves into makers and takers. It's that stupid.
In case you didn’t see the original post. Just wow:

By using s33 pre-emptively, the UCP is not simply admitting that their laws are breaching Charter rights. (Governments have done that before.)

By foregoing judicial review, they are further admitting that their laws cannot be justified in a democratic society.

A reminder that in the US political system there is no such thing as a vote of confidence. Beyond a coup, there is no way for the government to fall before the next election. Yes, the president can be removed by impeachment, but even if that were to happen the party in power would remain in power.

I’ve watched the first episode of Pluribus and very much enjoyed it. But at its end I thought, well, where can it go from here? I worried that it painted itself into a narrative corner. Looking forward to seeing how and why I couldn’t have been more wrong.
Second episode: Holy shit, he thought of EVERYTHING.
PLURIBUS: This must have been so much fun to shoot.

A Sharon Begley byline, almost 5 years after her death.

Upon hearing the news James Watson had died, a STAT reporter said in our Slack, "I wish I could read what Sharon would have written."

Incredible news: Sharon in fact did pre-write a Watson obit. And it is masterful and excoriating.

The Fraser Institute published a study on the fiscal cost of Canada’s low-carbon economy -- one that (shocker!) found lots of money spent on relatively few jobs.

I fact checked it for them. It didn't go well.

Lies, damn lies, and Fraser Institute studies
Maybe they didn't expect anyone to fact check their work. I did it anyways.

Small life update: I’m at the centre of a multimillion dollar lawsuit in Alberta launched by a failed candidate for Jason Kenney’s UCP

It may be the longest and most expensive media trial in Canadian history

I’m ready to go public about it and I want to share more details with you 🧵

Things that Musk said at Tesla shareholders meeting, #3
Optimus will overturn the fundamentals of economics to an extent that we may not even need money in the future, Musk says, and yet he still recommends people "hold onto your Tesla stock," which seems like a kind of mixed message.

Things that Musk said at Tesla shareholders meeting, #2
Optimus robots will just kinda follow criminals around and make sure they don't commit crimes again, so we can eliminate prisons.

These are all things Elon Musk is literally saying.
