A lot of us are *extremely* worried about pesticides.

But the point is: mass insect die-off is now happening due to climate breakdown, even where pesticides aren't a factor.

Nature is being attacked on just about every front there is, and needs *every last one* of us to step up in its defence.
Surely liberal use of pesticides across the globe is also having a massive effect? No-one seems too worried about that...

I am proud to be a (non-celebrity!) signatory to the #TakingThePip letter sent to Starmer and the government. We “demand that the government withdraw its inhumane and catastrophic plans to cut disability benefits.” This is nothing less than “cruelty by policy.” tinyurl.com/3cmv43a9

Enjoying a love affair with our living biosphere and all its life (including us), while stuck into the fight for our collective survival.

I shouldn't go to social things. They make me feel bad on a number of levels.

Might need to go for A Big Walk to sort my head out.

📣 New: Andy Burnham has set out a wide-ranging critique of the government and alternative left policy programme in an impassioned speech to a progressive conference.

He suggests Labour must move beyond "factionalism" and "too much timidity in our offer".

This is big - Scotland could make Ecocide a crime. It won’t be alone if it does - there’s a global push to make this happen.  And why not, we have crimes against humanity - why not crimes against nature and the environment. Laws are how we stop bad stuff happening.

Over the last 50yrs, we have been sold the LIE that we are unable to afford the most fundamental basics of society:
- road maintenance
- clean water
- public transport systems
- a postal network

This is so public money can be siphoned off through goverment contracts & subsidies into private hands.
