When Stephen Miller gave the orders to ICE to conceal identity, Miller helped get these elected officials shot. He’s complicit in these attacks.

Just so we're all clear: It's not a coincidence that the first senator they've used physical force against is Sen. Alex Padilla, a Latino man representing California.

You know the *only* reason he got out so fast was a reporter live posted about this for hours. And, a large amount of public pressure.

Every time someone gets grabbed, there has to be a robust public response immediately.
BREAKING: Juan Carlos Lopez-Gomez has been released. This is the moment he reunited with his mom.

The biggest thing we need to do is let people know that the protests are FUN. Yelling fuck the man is fun. You will meet fun people.

We also need to make them more fun. Bring grills like the French. Bring instruments like it’s Mardi Gras. Give people a reason to spend their weekend in the streets.

My latest piece for @teenvogue.com delves into the horrific story of popular skincare ingredient Retin-A.

Before Retin-A was approved by the FDA in 1971, it had been tested on hundreds of incarcerated Black people in Philadelphia, without their informed consent. The survivors still bear the scars.
The miraculous wrinkle-erasing, acne-fighting cream, is the result of decades of horrifying medical abuse.
The Horrifying History Behind a Beloved Skin-Care Ingredient
Retin-A was developed through tests on incarcerated people.

True story: a few years ago, I was being interviewed by a reporter for the New York Times. I mentioned the history of eviction statutes and how they tied into Jim Crow.

The reporter asked "what's Jim Crow?"

When I explained, the reporter didn't believe me and said the US wouldn't do that.

If you can believe it, I've never watched #JuJiHoon in anything until this year, when I binged both #LoveYourEnemy and #TheTraumaCode. Should I watch #Hyena next? Or take it all the way back and watch #GoongPrincessHours?

Unrelatedly, the Frances Perkins Building that houses the Dept of Labor is located at 200 Constitution Ave. NW, Washington, DC 20210.

The Democratic Party of Korea has officially added Universal Basic Income to their party platform. It seems very likely at this point that South Korea will be among the first nations to introduce UBI.

This scene was exquisite. The tension! The palpable chemistry! Did I mention the tension?? I live for this.
I've been holding my breath during the whole concert scene. The way the camera switched between their looks and their hands (and the pianist's hands), how the music crescendo mirrors their growing feelings and the increasing sensual tension between them. Perfection👌 #Chopin

I am pretty vigilant about deactivating invasive Facebook settings and don't have the app on my phone but sure enough it was logging my Internet activity. Luckily you can clear your past records and disable future tracking with these steps.
UM, I had NO idea facebook was tracking everything I did on the internet. EVERYTHING. I have diligently blocked and followed all ways to try to stop this messed up social media from taking from me, but this is the final straw… THESE JERKS! AGH! [screenshots on how to do it in the comments]

Today is a good day to ask yourself: what did America buy itself by accepting tech-enabled fascism? The existence of tweets? One-day shipping? All the vertical-format video you can blankly stare at? Was any of it worth it?
