this reminds me of the debate over whether or not george zimmerman was racist based on whether or not he might have uttered the n-word and not based on the fact that he stalked and murdered trayvon martin because he equated black male youth in casual attire with violent criminality

When you’re the parent of a dead one of ours your voice counts an order of magnitude more than one of a living one of ours so what you do with it kind of matters a fucking lot and I honestly don’t know if Esther is even aware of how her actions impact the trans community
And my criticism of Esther Ghey is most harsh: she is actively working to make the lives of the likes of her murdered trans daughter worse and she needs to stop
