This story about a Reform councillor in Northumberland has about three different massive stories in it.

He's accused of ripping off his constituents to the tune of £140k.

He owes his own council nearly £40k in unpaid tax.

His own council is suing him.

I won't vote for Labour to "stop Reform" as McSweeney and co appear to believe.

Why would I vote for Labour, just to end up with Reform's worst policies?

Suspect Labour are in for a huge shock in 2029 when they find themselves vying with the LibDems to be the official opposition.

It worked in 24 so it will work again. Labours marginals are different. Socially liberal voters will vote for us to stop Reform. Used by Labour to justify Reform like policies, but these arguments are just wrong.

Farage would strip EU citizens of rights to claim benefits if he became PM and yet👇🏼

When Brexit was announced he got German passports for his 2 children❌
His first wife was Irish❌
His second wife German❌
His long term girlfriend Laure Ferrari is French❌

He makes sure those close have EU benefits 🤷🏼‍♂️

This shows up Starmer for what he is. How he’s betrayed every commitment he’s voiced by u turning. I get it that events can sometimes alter or slow down implementation of policy, but he’s just done a full swerve to the right!😡
In 2020 Keir Starmer and Alf Dubs urged the then Conservative Government to restore their commitment to family reunion for child refugees, saying there was a “moral argument” to protect desperately vulnerable young people.

Five years later Dubs condemns Starmer for doing the complete opposite

The birth rate has been falling since 2010 and now sits at a record low of 1.41 children per woman. Net migration appears to be on a steep decline dropping by 50% in the last year. We have 100,000 unfilled posts in the NHS alone. This is a huge looming economic issue. But yeah take their jewellery.

Most asylum seekers arrive with their valuables long lost in bombed or abandoned homes, stolen, or sold to afford the dangerous clandestine passage to safety

The real thing of value to be snatched from refugees under these proposals is far more painful: their families & futures
