A high school kid and US citizen was driving his dad's car at lunch. ICE smashed the car window, dragged him out, and then said they didn't care that he was a citizen and arrested him anyway.

Now he faces charges of “interference or obstruction of investigation.”

fantastic idea to take a medical system that already has a measurable and documented habit of undertreating women’s pain and add “also, it’s ok for doctors to literally respond to complaints about care with ‘fine, then feel free to die’”
Ugh I’m so sorry! A similar thing happened to me when I pushed back on a doctor telling me that my pitting edema was just “fat”.

I asked for more tests and said it wasn’t fat and she said “if you’re unhappy with the care there’s always MAiD”

I complained and was told that’s allowed. Disgusting.
