As a former public health consultant, I know how important it is that strong evidence drives clinical practice. To date there is no such evidence to indicate paracetamol causes autism. Vaccinations are also important to help protect children (& adults) from serious infectious diseases. #evidence

Seems pretty clear cut that's what happened given public pronouncements & sequence of events
Alleged is an inaccurate description
Susan Monarez alleged she was fired from being the director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for “holding the line on scientific integrity.”

On Tuesday 26th August tear gas canisters were fired near Ramallah Friends School and a parent was fired on by a sniper while trying to reach the school gates.

Nobody at the school was injured but the children were left shaken and their families anxious.

If you were born between 1970-1990 you may not have full MMR protection, even if you had parents who took you for all your jabs. The NHS will give you a free booster. With cases surging, this is a great way to protect yourself & your community. I’m getting mine tomorrow www.nhs.uk/vaccinations...

The Evening Standard reveals that Emma Watson is “banned from driving alongside” Zoe Wanamaker. So she’s still allowed to drive if it’s on her own or alongside other friends? If only there were some kind of punctuation mark that could get rid of these sorts of ambiguities.

My statement on the amended #UCandPIPBill.

The Bill still has issues, but the significant concessions from government mean 800,000 disabled people will not be affected by PIP changes and 300,000 protected from poverty.

I will continue to look for ways to mitigate against these impacts.

Yes a lower general tariff would be helpful but as far as I can tell not on offer

"Shortly before the 2024 election, Labour was polling at 44%, and now it struggles to stay above half that. Those people did not abandon the party over net zero, or over immigration. They voted for change, and everything the party says suggests they are instead delivering more of the same old shit."
Now Labour must change course
