Gee, how will we ever understand the politics of this guy? On the one hand he TARGETED AND MURDERED THREE IMMIGRANTS, but on the other, his friends who laughed at his rape jokes say he maybe didn’t like Trump
ICE shooter Joshua Jahn's politics aren't what's being reported, three longtime former friends tell me.

En PR, no se ha reportado mucho sobre las condiciones de los centros de detención de inmigrantes. Dos dominicanos me contaron de su experiencia ahí:

"Casi no te dan agua. [Uno esta] esposada a todos lados como un delincuente. La trata fue muy mala".

Also, contrario a lo que reportó The New York Times (izquierda) en PR hay por lo menos 3 centros de detención de inmigrantes, según mi reporteo (derecha). Si cuentas MDC Guaynabo y el aeropuerto, son por lo menos 5 sitios donde aguantan migrantes por cualquier cantidad de tiempo.

For this story, I spoke with a Venezuelan woman with TPS who’s afraid of what will happen when it runs out, as wells as several Dominican men who’ve ben detained in PR and the US about their experience inside detention centers.

@prisonculture.bsky.social and I have been encouraging people to read chapter six of our book, Let This Radicalize You, which deals with the question of "violence" in social movements. We have decided to share the chapter publicly, to offer some context and grounding for the current conversation.

I think it is not an overstatement to say that the pandemic consolidated many far-right ideas of human disposability and made them the official language of the state and capital. This is related to but not limited to ofc the acceptance of Israel’s genocide of Gaza

Do you notice that every doctor who has been in Gaza comes back and describes it as an unimaginably horrific genocide, so vastly worse than even those of us following it realize?
Renowned Greek doctor describes bombs that produce shrapnel that makes tiny entry-wounds in the necks of children in Gaza, travelling through them such "that their larynx, their trachea, their spine had been destroyed."

"So these children could be 'used' to show how... effective these bombs are."

Testing weapons of war on children, that is what the western world is about.
Renowned Greek doctor describes current conditions for "relatively 'favored'" Western docs in Gaza right now, "the worst time in the entire genocide period":

"We had a guaranteed ration. Rice for a month. Our food was rice. Exclusively. There was nothing else...I lost around 8 kilos in one month."

The depravity here cannot be overstated.

A recent poll found:

- 82% of Israelis support forced removal of Palestinians from Gaza

- 56% support forced removal of Arab Israeli citizens

- 47% support IDF murdering *all* inhabitants of enemy cities they occupy

And arresting and sending a non-citizen to a foreign prison outside of any due process is rendition. It isn’t deportation either.
Begging yall to stop calling it deportation when it's done to citizens. You cannot deport a citizen.

Don't normalize the idea that citizens can be deported.
