There is no reason to use Gen AI to illustrate anything. There’s excellent clipart you can get very cheaply. A lot of human illustrators will do something very cheaply if they believe in the project and know your funds are limited. Gen AI is created from stolen labor.

The Pied Piper is one of the greatest things ever. Back in my college days I got to study in Prague for a month and I met Jiri Barta. We saw his 35mm print of it and he brought some of the puppets with him. Very impressive to see them in person!
