The far right opposes science because the far right's views are not based on reliable evidence, they are based on emotions, conspiracy theories, and disinformation. Science is the trusted gatekeeper for facts and logic, so it is de facto the enemy.

It is extremely revealing that Corey Booker was able to stand for 25 hours and talk and make sense, and that every time the GOP open their mouths their utterances are insensible, incomprehensible, ungrounded in fact. Trust people who tell the truth. People who lie and fabricate are not trustworthy.

Pretty much anytime you hear or read the phrase “radical left” you can bet you’re being fed a stream of steaming hot horse shit.

No one could have predicted that Trump would do all the tariffs that he repeatedly said he would do during his campaign.

I was so convinced that my old job was the standard and nowhere could be better (except for hours) that every day I’m shocked by my new job and how easygoing it is and how much time I’m given for training. I really liked my old workplace but Jesus Christ is was baaaad there😵‍💫

“If you're not careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed, and loving the people who are doing the oppressing.”

A classic quote from Malcolm X, who was assassinated 60 years ago today.

For the Switch 2 Nintendo should just remaster AC:NL and slightly update it (newer villagers, more pattern storage, more furniture sets, add happy home designer 3DS as an add-on or dlc rather than a separate game).

Unpopular? Opinion: short YouTube videos aren’t even worthy watching to me. I see an 8 minute video and I just can’t put it on knowing I’m going to have to find something else to watch in 8 minutes time. Give me 20 minutes at least!!

I’m convinced the “do audiobooks count as reading?” argument all derives from those mid-90s summer reading pizza challenges.

Folks - we’re all in our 30s and 40s now. It’s no longer a competition.

Go buy your favorite pie with your adult money and let people enjoy books however they want.
