You’re not being punished.
Flare ups happen and the best thing we can do is lean in to radical rest as much as possible.

Just a gentle note that in 2025 and especially if you are marginalised, disabled etc -- don't let anyone bully you into being unsafe by claiming you are "cowardly". If you need to stay out of harm's way, away from abusers, bullies, possible incarceration, do it. Your life, your choice. Be safe. ❤️
