I know I say this a lot, but I hope we are done—finally done—with accepting the GOP’s efforts to equate its “tough on crime” stance as meaning it actually want to ensure that laws are obeyed.

It’s about social control—enforcement as a means of regulating disliked out groups.

I hope it’s clear to everyone that “eradicating anti-Christian bias” is code for “promoting Christian nationalism”.

Also, look at the list of people on the task force. These are the most important people in government. Apparently this is Trump’s highest priority. Higher than, say, egg prices.

Received a letter from POTUS today purporting to remove me as Commissioner and Chair of the FEC. There's a legal way to replace FEC commissioners-this isn't it. I've been so fortunate to serve the American people and stir up some good trouble along the way. That's not changing anytime soon.
