Canadian 80s TV was terrible. I love it.
Canada made weird tv shows because it was all being done with government funded art grant money so they fell in this wacky middle ground between “shoestring budget” and “no expectation to generate shareholder value” which is really the best way to make art

There was a river at the bottom of the hill I grew up near. And a tree or two to grab. Inevitably a sled or two ended up in the water.
I’m sorry but I can’t stop laughing, yeah we would sled down hills in the winter with whatever we had on hand, toboggans, crazy carpets, tubes 😂 someone always got injured because of jumps on the hills or wipeouts #Canada
