OTD in 2002 Russian foreign minister Lavrov said it was Ukraine's decision to join NATO if it wanted.

Which is *very* strange thing to say if you got a promise from NATO that Ukraine wasn't going to be allowed to even apply. Or maybe it's bullshit.

I bought a cheap domain to redirect to my annotating contextualization engine. I say it's to check LLM text but it can honestly check anything. It runs cheap on tokens, so it's not perfect, but it will still on average catch more errors in a minute than most people will in an hour. overlay.cv

So this nerd-led retroactive "ACKTUALLY Y2K PANIC WAS KINDA JUSTIFIED" is simplistic and it spread as a Twitter-sized factoid.

I remember a few stories about the back end work to prep for 2000 but they were drowned by all the Jerry Springer-type stuff.

Is Donald Trump a friend or an enemy of Europe?
48% of Europeans think he is an enemy, only 10% say he is a friend.
Only in Poland, more people think he is a friend, rather than an enemy.
