1) read the OP thread.
2) the competent leadership at OPM was gutted. The traitortots hit hard and fast at OPM. The feds who are left are trying to superman efforts that were always understaffed and underprioritized in the best cases.

Reporting shows what was actually stripped out of OPM’s shutdown guidance: clear language on guaranteed back pay, furlough pay rates, leave accrual, and prior references to RIF protections. That’s not “clarification” -- that’s erasure.

Minnesota National Guard members have arrived at a federal building and were directed to distribute donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate to anti-ICE protesters. Guard members were issued reflective vests so they would not be mistaken for federal agents.

Today a VA nurse was executed. This all needs to stop.
Alex Pretti was a colleague at the VA. We hired him to recruit for our trial. He became an ICU nurse- I lover working with him. He was a good kind person who lived to help and these fuckers executed him.

Got forced into the drp from an improperly done rif, I'm starting to wonder if it was because I requested accessible copies of the documents they sent me.
another wave of illegal and immoral RIFs are underway tonight. I'm hearing that feds not only feds with reasonable accommodations are being targeted but also the departments that determine what RAs are.

If you work for the government, you know this shit is a blatant violation of the Hatch Act. This administration is eroding the professional civil service, and soon enough, citizens will realize they can no longer trust anything their own government says. The walls are beginning to crumble folks.
