Bikes on busses: very good! Would prefer more instruction on step through frames though, I strapped my bike on very poorly on the way north and it nearly fell over several times, but strapping the bike near the rear had much better results. Looking forward to more busses having this in future!

#TrainNews: Alstom has been selected to deliver 18 five-car battery electric multiple unit (BEMU) trains.

The Train fleet is to be named ‘Tūhono’, meaning connect or unite.

The fleet will be manufactured in India by Alstom and are scheduled to enter service from 2030.

If I was AT I take that to the Court of Appeal to get it struck (then seek costs)

The High Court Judge has wrongingly erred with considering impact of motorists as impact of flow is not required. The 85th percentile, and Levels of Service which did consider flow have been discredited

#BusNews: From July, 15 double-decker buses on the NX1 bus route will be fitted with a bike rack inside the bus.

AT hopes a successful trial will lead to other Rapid Transit Bus Services (the NX2 and WX1) being able to offer a bike-in-bus service.
