As posted by @mrjkirwan.bsky.social on Twitter, the first test train has officially gone through the southbound CRL tunnel!! Awesome to see the progress of this project and looking forward to its opening!

A tour of Wellington's Matangi units! Very good trains that can run with up to three 2 car sets joined together, and balance longer distance rides with overhead bag racks and comfy seats with shorter distance commuting with lots of standing room.
