All of global politics is really just to distract us from this horrible fact
This is obscene.

That others in politics can’t or won’t say that this is obscene hits at the heart of the problems we face.

We are the 99.999%.

Tax the super rich.

then, the transphobes , feeling victorious at how many people they have made unhappy and despairing in the previous week, move on to anything else that has a spectrum and the possibility of more colours than they can conceive - such hateful people - they cannot understand anything that is not THEM

I think Transactual put it best (in reference to the girl guides) and now Labour too:

"There is no problem being solved here, only harm being done."

All to appease the right, who hate them anyway - shame on them.

And again! Watching a couple of goldcrests about 6ft away and the kingfisher flew between us. I absolutely love living in the valleys
Just had a Kingfisher almost hit me in the face, which was pretty cool

Absolutely insane.

Labour would have purged and smeared someone like Zohran Mamdani.

Wes Streeting's politics align far more closely with Andrew Cuomo.

The lessons from Mamdani are about how to defeat both the right - and the bankrupt "centre".

Do you think the person in Welsh Labour who decided to run this add feels any contrition?

11% they polled at. If they poll nationally like that in May they could get zero seats.

Zero.

Massive win for Plaid Cymru in last night’s Caerphilly Senedd by-election with 47.4% in a record turnout.

South Wales has always been a Labour stronghold, but Labour and the Tories combined got just 13%. Reform came second with 36%.

So many talking heads so badly wanted Caerphilly to be majority right wing on the back of the brexit vote. I know several people who voted to leave the EU on the basis of it being a stain of imperialism in the fight for socialism in our lifetimes. Wales does not lean majority right wing.

The genocide still happened, Palestine still isn't free, their homes, hospitals, schools and places of worship are still rubble and tens of thousands if not more are dead and Keir Starmer's Labour and the British media and establishment facilitate every bit of it.

The blood will never wash off.
Labour MPs reckon that if the ceasefire holds it will be harder for opponents to mobilize against them over the Israel-Palestine issue in the next election. There are concerns though about whether the fragile agreement will hold. More in London Playbook PM.

I believe that Britain would benefit from the independence of Wales and Scotland. It would isolate the rancid English ruling class, possibly destroy the monarchy once and for all and we could more easily destroy ruling class power. For the many, not the few.

The images coming out of Palestine, especially of children who are being gruesomely massacred and starved to death, should be seared into every mind and never forgotten. They are a permanent stain on the conscience of humanity.
