I hope it's clear to everyone now that Trump really is going for it - he's trying to become a dictator. I don't know if he'll succeed, but he's working to install himself as an autocrat unaccountable to voters. And he's weaponizing the military against Americans who oppose him as part of that effort

And our intelligence allies probably won’t share intel with us. Because people couldn’t vote for a woman.

The markets are bad at politics. But yeah, the global economy built on the dollar is being dismantled, the US is run by a mad king who doesn't believe in paying his debts and whether the USA exists in 30 years is an open question. Of course investors are losing trust long-term Treasury bonds.
