Miller’s apparent elevation to shadow president and his seeming intent to declare an end to the constitutional order would, in any other administration, be treated as a executive branch meltdown that was immensely embarrassing for the president and requiring Miller’s immediate removal

hey @nytimes.com: there is no counterpoint here. There are no credible legal experts who would EVER say that the US military has any right or authority to blow civilian craft out of the Caribbean and kill their crews from afar without any provocation. There is no other side to this question.

It's the fabricating that worries me most. If they can fabricate danger and then, with AI, fabricate "evidence," where will that leave us?

I don't know enough to judge the accuracy of this, but if it is true, then we need to get to work at the State level. It will be the only way to stop the corporations from running our lives
