The CEO of Bluesky is craven and evil. The only people that build these platforms are infected with the self-reproducing moral rot of capitalism. They have no sense of duty or stewardship. They see their monetary reward as a cleansing justification for their actions.

If you're a freelancer, record your work hours, you'll be able to track your effective hourly rate. People exploiting artists bank on your labor being ambiguous and hard to measure. Hourly rates are measurable. Don't work for bad pay

I am an adherent to the philosophy that all the best artists are perverts in some way, if not openly then privately. What is perversion if not having unchecked passion, the same passion that fuels artistry.

My new video is now available on Nebula. It's about the Nuremberg Trials. It represents a pretty colossal amount of effort. I would love for you to watch it. nebula.tv/videos/jacob...

Valve just updated their Steam rules to ban content that “may violate rules set by payment processors or banks.” Sounds boring. It’s not. It’s the quiet normalization of financial censorship and it’s going to hurt LGBTQ+ games and devs

In light of today's SCOTUS ruling upholding Tennessee's ban on youth gender-affirming care, it would be amazing to see donations flood into OUTMemphis, the mid-south's longest-running LGBTQ+ org.

OUTMemphis offers material and social support for trans kids and adults and has since 1989.

Today is a particularly good day to support trans mutual aid as a concrete way to fight back against the fuckers trying to take their healthcare and other rights away.

My first oil painting lol. Sketched this out in about 2 minutes but the smell of the turpentine and linseed oil was too much for my room so I packed it up early.

Another snapshot from the National Portrait Gallery today. Self-portrait by the poet and artist Isaac Rosenberg from 1915, the year he joined the army. He was killed in action in 1918.

“Shellburst” by Robert Pilot MBE, 1918, #CanadianWarMuseum. As an #infantryman in the #CEF, the artist witnessed unforgettable scenes of #WorldWarI. Here he captures instant when an artillery explosion hurls out its destruction. For many soldiers, this was their last moment of life. #fww #fwwhist
