I want to reiterate that countless conservative judges issued universal injunctions against the Biden administration, and the Supreme Court never halted the practice. Now, barely five months into Trump's second term, the court puts an end to these injunctions. A brazen double standard.

Oh excellent. Another think tank grifting for foreign money to buy our democracy and put Farage in No. 10 - via a pact with the unelectable Tory party, a manifesto modelled on Trump’s Project 2025 and the strong hope that - with helpful media cover - voters will be stupid enough to fall for it.

We’re raising $1,500,000 for 10 AI-controlled air defense turrets that will protect Ukrainians from russia's terrorist attacks. Russia has launched over 45,000 strike drones at civilians since the start of the invasion.

Help us hit the goal & save lives.

Private Eye exposing again the utter idiocy of our politics.
This sums up *exactly* how Farage and Reform get rocket-boosted by a media, drunk on sensationalist nonsense. Unserious and irresponsible but it’ll be up to us to prove them wrong.

Billionaires make bad politicians. Musk and Trump think business smarts translate to government, but politics isn’t about winning at all costs. It’s compromise, not control. And history shows: when entrepreneurs enter politics, chaos usually follows.

When did you ever hear the BBC stating that it must alter “story selection” and “other types of output, such as drama”, to win the trust of Green voters, or of unrepresented people on the left?
All the shifts are in just one direction.

Hmm…. A Daily Mail headline so clearly designed to make you furious.

Being shared by salivating Tory MPs who love a good rage farming story!

So, what’s going on here?

Let’s take a look!👀

Ukraine could’ve launched the attack on civilian population centers, like Russia does to them daily.

Instead, they chose a strictly military target - the very bombers being used to kill Ukrainian civilians.

A brilliant operation solely designed to defend their own people.

If the hard and far right need to blame anyone for “two-tier” policing, they need only look to themselves and the invidious position in which they’ve put officers.

I wrote for the Guardian’s Saturday magazine about my son Max, who changed how I see the world. Took ages. More jokes after the first bit.

Thanks Merope Mills for being the most patient and generous editor.

Morning from Kyiv!

I'm trying to grasp the scale of the night attack on Ukraine.
russia used 298 drones and 69 missiles.

There are casualties and damage across Ukraine.
Children are among the killed 💔

This terror has a single goal - to make us surrender.
No way! I need a wacoffee.

Johnson put a border in the Irish Sea, sold out the fishing industry, all SMEs trading with the EU, our farmers, universities, musicians, young people, scientists, all of us…
And now he sits in the mess he made throwing insults at those who are clearing up after him.
What a monumental piece of shit.

Today, the Covid Inquiry heard how Boris Johnson lied to the British public about the UK's ability to Test & Trace.

Those in power knew that a lack of planning and underinvestment had left the country unprepared, and they tried to cover it up.

Our loved ones paid the price.
