The squeaking has me 😂🤣 How embarrassing!
Our military deserves better than this empty charade. Yikes. The tank squeaking over silence is incredible.

Hey so can we get a general strike yet? What exactly are we waiting for? We the people have the power to shut down the economy. First the 10 million people in LA, then the whole state which is the 4th largest economy in the world. We the people have the power 💪

He is screaming "help me" and "oh no" over and over and over.
A father screams for his child from a tiny interview room within a basement waiting room inside LA federal building. The space is not a holding area. No food. No water. No diapers. Those initially detained include a 2-year-old US citizen and a woman with high-risk pregnancy.

In LA they have been taking people who showed up for their immigration court hearing, literally going through the system and doing everything the “right way,” and detaining them - in the basement.

I screamed multiple times while listening to the news on my drive to work this morning. There are so many awful things happening it’s overwhelming (that’s intentional, I know). A woman arrested for how she disposed of fetal remains. As someone who miscarried multiple times, these stories are a blow.
A Georgia woman has been arrested for how she disposed of her miscarriage.

Police say the woman was charged with “concealing the death of another person” and “abandonment of a dead body” because she put fetal remains in the trash.

Yikes Mike
Trump will consider this far worse than any security breach. Because this is borderline treason in Dear Leader’s world. Waltz is now officially in trouble.

Hey remember when trump called us the enemy within? I do. If this government can disappear a green card holder they can disappear a citizen.

I came here to post about how I’ve started putting my original paintings up for sale on Daily Paintworks but the government has arrested a legal permanent resident for protesting the genocide of his people so I feel obligated to post about that instead. Are we winning yet?

Hey @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social - enough decorum, enough respectful quiet, enough moderates. You can’t tip a seesaw by sitting in the middle. You can’t fight fascism with centrism.

Primary every single democrat who voted for this nonsense.
HOW DARE a representative of the people represent the people???!!!
How dare he stand up to a would-be dictator? a would-be king?
BREAKING: House votes to censure Rep. Al Green for his actions during President Trump’s joint address to Congress.

The vote was 224-198, with 10 Democrats joining all Republicans in voting in favor of the censure resolution.

Briefly listened to pod save America this morning and they said something like “if democrats really believe trump is an authoritarian then their response of pink t-shirts and signs seems pretty ridiculous” and yes, yes it does. Wtaf @housedemocrats.bsky.social

Times like today would be a perfect opportunity for to have a Democratic message war room in full motion from Congress blasting out the story of Trump/Vance/Putin's skullduggery. 🧵 (1/)
Americans root for people who stand up for themselves, whether they do it in a newsletter, at a press conference, through an influencer, or on social media. But they won’t root for a pushover, just because he happens to be on TikTok. www.offmessage.net/p/democrats-...

I went to figure study today! I haven’t done that in around 16 years. It’s a group at my local community center, uninstructed although just the opportunity to paint/sketch with other artists is a great learning opportunity. Felt like a beginner again. That’s ok. Proud of myself for showing up.

There are these incredible trees in several of the parks in San Pedro. Their scientific name is Ficus Macrophylla, and they are also known as Moreton Bay figs or Australian Banyan trees. The massive buttress roots make it an excellent tree for playing and climbing. I love painting these.
