Apparently my ex has been dealing with leg numbness. Dr just gave him gabapentin. Told him to lose weight. Last night he was in surgery for 9hrs to remove a tumor from his spine - after he suddenly couldnt walk. This is SK but #skpoli wtf. #Cons & #healthcare = #dumpsterfire

Canada Post is a public service and we should NOT expect it to make a profit. Do we expect parks to turn a profit? Or emergency services? Do roads turn a profit? Canada Post provides a broad service to Canadians and SHOULD be government funded and maintained.

I just learned one of Saskatchewans most prominent lawyers, an absolute titan of the profession, passed away recently from hospital acquired Covid. The family announced the death “with sadness and anger”. I commend them for speaking out. How tragic. Healthcare should be safe. We must do better.

This paper is interesting for a few reasons. It shows that mask mandates in healthcare protect patients from infections, and removing mask mandates in healthcare harms patients.

A facility without a mask mandate is making a *deliberate choice* known to harm patients.
