Love ❤️ this section of the Blackrock greenway & the sweep down to the Marina. Frosty morning & a bunch of 🧍‍♀️🧍🧍‍♂️ on 🚲 going to work & school safely away from 🚗🚙. Getting a bit of fresh air & exercise. It's about 0°C/32°F at the time. We get almost everywhere within 15 mins because of this route.

BREAKING⚡️The High Court has just ruled that the government's draconian ban of Palestine Action was unlawful. This is a massive blow to the Home Office’s authoritarian approach. They need to stop criminalising people protesting a genocide and start ending the UK's complicity

This resembles what they did with covid. They didn't like the numbers so they stopped gathering the data & publishing the stats. Suddenly no covid.

Because there's no time to spend cooking everything from scratch because everybody is stuck in fucking traffic for 4 hours every day. Two people forced to work to pay for a house & any spare time people want to spend with kids whose care is being outsourced because of the above reasons.

Feck's sake - you can tell the people who make decisions about public transport in Cork city never have to actually use it.

And haven't for years.

Back on the bike this morning for school commute. Within 4 minutes of being on the road, two cars broke through red lights to make a turn that would have been doable if they waited another 30 seconds, 4 yellow boxes blocked and lines of traffic. But bike lanes are the problem 🤷🏻‍♂️

Places like achill and Killarney that are impossible to find a place to live in create their own political consensus. cause the people who can't find anywhere to live there leave and the people who can are often landlords like MHR himself

We agree with @horganp.bsky.social. The streets where we live are not just routes for traffic; they are places where children walk to school, older people cross to the shop, and communities meet.
