pretty funny how many people are vehemently against the notion: “the government should do stuff for its citizens”

I’ve been thinking about all-time bad QB rooms. Because the Saints will have one.

It might be worse than the 2022-2023 Falcons room of Mariota-Ridder-Woodside-Heinicke or the 2012 Cardinals Skelton-Lindley-Kolb room or the 08 Raiders of JaWalrus-Walter or the 01 Cowboys Carter-Leaf or 2000 Browns.

Yeah, this isn’t true. Anything he accepts gift wise will be and should be looked upon as a bribe. This is gaslighting, Lipton. Do better.
Corruption requires explict quid pro quo. It is not corrupt to take an action that aligns with the interest of a person who gives you a gift, unless the official action was in direct response to that gift--a bribe. Terms matter. Accuracy and fairness matters. Regardless of what social media wants.

Twitter is back up. And I instantly got reminded why I fucking hate it sometimes. The "Created account last month 3 follower guy" trolling you.

It's more that I have all of my stuff set up there in follows and lists. I wish I had it able to import to here.

Tomlin setting up a "one last run" type team if he's bringing in Rodgers.

Send the Falcons a 7 and eat his contract.
I just feel like Cousins to the Browns is gonna happen

Way less than I was expecting.

Twitter completely dying and the stock tanking to $0 would be amazing.
Welcome to NFL free agency.
Twitter's loss is Bluesky's gain.
Maybe the NFL will end up wishing it had allowed its teams to open accounts here.

Having NFL Network on my TV instead of being on social media to get the news of signings feels WEIRD. #NFL

Elon Musk not paying for twitter servers and the whole fucking thing crashing for good would be amazing. I’d hate to have to recreate the following I had over there but it’d be worth it just to see twitter burn.

Twitter being down for the start of NFL free agency really sums up how things are going over there.

Grady Jarrett will be in the Falcons ring of honor the moment he retires from the NFL.
Seeing an all-time franchise great depart is always going to be emotional. Grady Jarrett was the man in Atlanta. He was a workhorse who rarely had support around him in the trenches. He never complained, led by example, and represented the city proudly. He deserves all the appreciation.

Does anyone on BSKY have a NFL Newsbreakers list? I have one on twitter, but I'd like on on here. For well, today reasons.

The minute the NFL and WWE move over to bluesky is the minute I completely leave twitter.
Twitter dying on the first day of NFL free agency. Huh. If only NFL teams had an alternative. 🧐

For Atlanta, I want Chase YOung, actually. I think he's a great fit for what we need here and would open up our defense a ton.
I think it's funny to see the reaction optically between saying you want Josh Sweat vs Chase Young.

Chase Young is just as good as Sweat, but slightly younger.

The difference is Young's expectations were higher and not met. And Sweat has recency bias of a great Super Bowl game.
