One of my favorite social media redundancies is when people respond to a list of facts with, “I disagree!”

Ma’am and sirs — Mirs, if you will — that isn’t how anything works. You cannot “disagree” with the color of the sky or a timestamped event.

This a federally-monitored website. The regime is on highest alert. Anyone posting advocacy for violence right now is a fedposter or a fool. This has nothing to do with what is right or wrong or what you have a right to say. It's simply a fact.

No more flu vaccines, which are updated regularly. No HIV vaccine we were on the cusp of creating as a feat of humanity in this ongoing epidemic. Rural areas will suffer most.

May future generations forgive and correct the ignorance and hate of this one.

I just ran into this little QUEEN and it gave me an inordinate amount of joy to know she will be on this earth living her life long after the hateful entity in the WH is gone.

She also reminded me that they are who we fight for.

Pass it on if she brought a smile to your face like she did mine. 👑

I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.

This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.

It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

Near the end of the Biden years, Elizabeth Prelogar asked the Supreme Court to rein in nationwide injunctions in a low-stakes case where a Republican judge/Fifth Circuit blocked an act of Congress from applying to anyone anywhere.

They declined and took up Trump’s patently illegal order instead.

look, this is all fucking insane but they did literally publish all of these ideas before the election in a big document that was basically “here’s our roadmap to making trump king so he can tariff everybody, deport 30 million people, and destroy social security”
look i understand the temptation to explain this was all foreseeable (it was!) but I’m sorry but if you had “armed takeover of USIP” and “tariffs on penguins” and “immediately gunning for social security” all on your list for the first 100 days, you’re either a clairvoyant or YOU should be president

This is egregiously unacceptable, @washingtonpost.com.

Trump cannot do this. It's illegal. You know it! You say it!

And yet, you *still* give him the headline. This is journalistic malpractice, with democracy hanging in the balance.

Cowering & compromising won’t work. He is attacking us for the success of our work.

if you find yourself reluctant to support the guy at Columbia because you find some of the politics he espoused distasteful or even abhorrent, you should know that this is exactly the reaction that they hoped for in choosing him as a target for unlawful detention based on political speech.

There is a real, genuine 1st Amendment crisis in the United States right now.

The government is openly retaliating against anyone with a viewpoint it doesn't like: Pro-Palestinian protesters, law schools teaching Black History, pro-immigration public service loan forgiveness seekers.

I’m sad to learn that my law school classmate, Kiah Duggins, died in the DC plane crash last night.

Kiah was an exceptionally talented civil rights lawyer and aspiring legal scholar.

I hope you’ll read about her work and the causes she cared about, some of which I’ll 🧵 below.

What an immense loss
