It’s so annoying that we all have to just continually point out how rules around/between decorum and violation are applied asymmetrically to vulnerable groups versus the people who are always hassling them, and it’s extra insulting that the people in charge are trying to lol it away.

People who end up the main character of the day often seem to have decided to skip (or lack) a group chat to air their thoughts.
As someone who has been in the public eye--in a small way, but for decades--I say this to help, truly: Some gripes go in the group chat, work slack, get aired out in a bar or phone call. Publicly? You pick your moments & your targets & use the perch & megaphone you have mindfully. Doing so matters.
