A Black woman named Aliyah was struggling to find work. So, she catfished herself and made a fake profile on LinkedIn named "Emily." Emily had the same qualifications as Aliyah but received 57.9% of interview invites while Aliyah received 8.9%

If you really want to defend children's innocence, maybe ban guns so they don't have to watch their friends get murdered in school shootings or have to experience trauma inducing active shooter drills.
One day after effectively banning porn in the state, SC uses the same "harmful to minors" argument to make it a felony, punishable by up to 10 years in prison, to allow someone under 18 to view a drag show.

Even people who dislike porn should be wary of these laws, because the definition of what's "harmful to minors" is vague, variable and infinitely expandable — and if they can use the rationale to effectively ban access to porn, they can sure as hell do it for art, sexual health and political views.
