Easiest: Dialogue. All my stories start as conversations & quips between characters.
Hardest: Exposition. Building a world around the dialogue is where I end up writing & rewriting. I'll picture how a setting or character looks in my mind, but describing it in writing never feels accurate at first.

What scenes are the hardest and easiest for you to write?
Hardest for me: Drawn out battle scenes. Takes me forever to write because I'm trying to keep the action going.
Easiest: Dialogue. I trained on Gilmore Girls, Tolkien and Buffy lmao. Dialogue is my jam.

I’ve always found it interesting how much microblogging character limits streamline language use. No room for weasel words, purple prose, digression.
But I think it’s also part of how extremism ramps up.
Because neither is there room for nuance, citation, qualifiers, any softening or mitigation.
