Final vote. 50-50. VP breaks the tie.

One single GOP Senator could have stopped this abomination. Saved millions of parents from watching their child go hungry. Saved the lives destroyed when Medicaid disappears.

They will all live forever with the horror of this bill.

"The BlueGreen Alliance conducted an analysis of the potential impacts of the policies in the House bill on the employment footprint of manufacturing and found that repealing the clean manufacturing tax credits puts over two million jobs at risk."

Killing 2 million jobs, ho hum.

Hey, did you know there's an alternative to ChatGPT that makes sense economically and doesn't destroy the environment?
It's called English majors and they will happily fix all of your documents for the low price of health insurance and a living wage.

@kavate.bsky.social doesn’t pull any punches in writing about CZI’s new director who claims she cannot see an effective way to distribute $1 billion on climate, which at best shows a staggering lack of imagination and is more likely deliberately misleading. Thanks for this piece.
“In climate, we have this kind of disease of volumetric gold stars that don’t necessarily correlate with impact. The thing that I track is, what are you doing? What’s the strategy?”

Workers rights should not be up for debate✊🗣️

The NY Times is factchecking and really what’s the point? Anything that isn’t a lie is only accidentally true
Ignore Trump's spin and lies, here's his actual record so far:

❌ 42,000+ jobs eliminated
❌ Tens of billions in clean energy funds frozen
❌ Highest electricity bills in decades
❌ Clean air and water protections gutted

Trump is throwing Americans under the bus to please billionaires. #JointAddress

The Trump administration is firing thousands of workers at the National Weather Service and NOAA.

The National Weather Service — which provides life-saving forecasts — costs taxpayers just $4/year per person and generates $100B in economic value.

This is chaos and destruction for the sake of it.

“In mainstream discourse, it's become standard to blame the excesses of the right on liberals, the left, feminists, Black Lives Matter, affirmative action, environmental protection, and BIPOC and LGBTQ people.”

As opposed to correctly blaming the right for trying to destroy everything.
These stories amount to "the left was so annoying about pronouns or liberals made people feel so guilty about plastic straws they had no choice but to get on board with the second coming of the Third Reich and the destruction of the planet."

Freezing federal funding is harming the planet, destroying livelihoods, and putting lives at risk. We won’t stop fighting.
With over 30 EPA grant programs on hold and millions divested from crucial federal agencies, workers are feeling “panic, confusion and anger.” Read the following CNN piece where our Executive Director Jason Walsh discusses the implications of Trump's federal funding freeze. loom.ly/THls-2M
