This is exactly why I stopped interacting with a lot of people I know from my decades in tech. Many of whom ran from scam to scam or the more successful ones ran their own exploitive scams. Ethics and humanity were exchanged for frame, power, and money.
I've got friends who want to be millionaire CEOs, and talking to them about their moneymaking endeavors made me realize that a lot of people think being a smart businessperson is all about how successfully you exploit people. It's why types like Musk and Trump are idolized.

I am incredibly concerned with President Musk's illegal attacks on our government and the men and women in civil service. Purges and loyalty checks are not compatible with democracy. There are reports of Musk's unelected, unnofficial representatives stealing personal data on federal employees. WHERE IS CONGRESS? WHERE IS THE JUDICIARY? Please do something. Stand up for democracy. Without checks and balances, democracy will fall.
