Today’s reading for you (yes, you).

Past: The Hierophant
Present: Nine of Wands
Future: King of Swords

You’ve been on a spiritual journey. Now there’s some sort of crisis demanding your attention. You will survive it, but then, you must choose how you will move forward.

I felt my deck calling to me this morning, so I did a quick 2-card draw to see how today was gonna go.

I drew the Tower and the Queen of Cups.

It seems there are going to be some drastic changes in the near future. They will be worth it in the end, but they’re gonna hurt.

🤬 It may look like Trump can censor public health and science. He cannot. We use tracked changes around here ya’ll. And duplicates and archives and repositories. We got reporters on speed dial and besties at all the journals. We’re digging in.

It's amazing how badly most congressional Democrats are misreading the mood of their base.

On the bright side, if you're ever considered running for Congress, the 2026 Democratic Party primaries are going to be a prime moment for "throw the old guard out" insurgents.

They are expanding their McCarthyite war on diversity to include people with disabilities, and doing it very clearly. Should someone in a wheelchair be able to work for the FAA? I think an overwhelming majority of Americans would say "of course" but that's not what we're hearing from Trump.

If you are a federal worker being offered a buyout, I would advise against taking it.

Of course, this is a personal decision for everyone and it’s your choice.

But these offers are a rush job. The legality is questionable and this admin does not keep to its word.

They aren’t firing for a reason.

We passed a bill in committee yesterday that felonizes elected officials if they vote against Trump’s immigration policy. Let that sink in. Duly elected officials will go to jail- will have a criminal record- if they do not vote for and support Trump’s policies.

It’s important to know that a lot of productive activity is happening in person and offline, too.

Not all of it can be broadcast online, but we’ve had hundreds of people showing up to our trainings, mobilizations, and more.

Keep going. Tyranny is eroded by a sea of small acts. Everything matters.

When the Patriot Act was passed, libraries got requests for patrons’ borrowing history. We were prohibited from disclosing those requests.

We deleted and shredded those records and stopped tracking reading history for that reason.
