The Christian right for decades has fear-mongered that federal agents (under Dem presidents) would "criminalize" Christianity and literally prevent them from worshipping.

Now that Trump's stormtroopers are doing it ... crickets
Here’s a story for every national news outlet:

In N.C., churchgoers are literally running into the woods as federal agents descend on the property.

“Inside the church, women and children sobbed as they wondered whether their loved ones had been taken.”

NEW @crisesnotes.bsky.social: I take a look at the longest government shutdown in U.S. history, the little it accomplished- especially on the central governmental crisis we face- the constitutional crisis over impoundment.

They're running from it now. But the fact that Senate Republicans tried to give 10 of their colleagues at least $1 million each for nothing but a bogus press op captures the corruption of Trump II. In no other environment wld this even occur to the most corrupt politicians.

You literally voted to confirm her as Agriculture Secretary
After using hungry Americans as pawns, this will only make it more difficult for families in need to put food on the table.

The images say it all and Heidi Schlumpf is right in Commonweal:

Huh what role did he have?
A teenager in Florida with a homeless parent wanted money for braces and ended up having sex for money with powerful men, setting off a chain of events that would have a dramatic impact on her life and help upend the political career of Representative Matt Gaetz. nyti.ms/49PSkL9

JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."

every tiny crumb that leaks out is a career ending bombshell and we’re all just supposed to go on with our lives while our elected representatives shrug and tell us there’s nothing to be done about the president’s involvement in a child sex trafficking operation
A direct email exchange from 2011 between Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, just released by House Oversight Committee Democrats.

About the same time the NYT sat on a scoop tying Trump to Epstein, Maggie Haberman was downright giddy (y'all) about NYT promoting an anti-Hillary Clinton book.

Dems should be calling for Trump’s resignation. All of them.

This isn’t even a close call.

Ah and what are Illinios senators up to today?

Oh.
Astonishing: Bovino and his agents showed up at the Bean this morning to pose for pictures. While Border Patrol snapped photos, one agent shouted, “Everyone say, ‘Little Village!’” The neighborhood where they are least welcome and most acutely felt. blockclubchicago.org/2025/11/10/b...
Border Patrol Agents Pose At 'The Bean' For Apparent Photo Op
The photo op came after agents tear-gassed a Little Village street and were spotted in the area numerous times. At the Bean, one agent shouted, "Everyone say, Little Village!"

Shaheen on Fox & Friends: "I believe there are number of Republicans who are gonna join us in trying to address healthcare costs ... we are gonna be able to continue to right about healthcare because we're gonna have a vote in December."

Going on Fox to talk about how you stuck it to your own voters is something.
KILMEADE: Schumer says he's voting no. Did you do this outside leadership?

SHAHEEN: No. We kept leadership informed throughout.

Republicans were going to have to kill the filibuster, which the surrender Democrats wanted to keep in place so they can use it as an excuse to tank the Democratic agenda if they’re ever in power again.

They all deserve to be primaried. Every last one.

Democrats weren't going to win. They were going to force Republicans to kill the filibuster. WIthout the filibuster they would be forced in power to pass a lot of things they don't want to pass.

Our new governor in NJ who understands the stakes
My statement on the proposed Senate deal
November 10, 2025 at 2:04 AM
NJ Gov-elect Mikie Sherrill: “the American people want leadership with a backbone. And at a critical moment when they need leaders to stay strong under pressure, the Senate is on the brink of caving on a bill that the American people can't afford.”
This is really good to see: Miki Sherrill just put out a statement sharply criticizing the Senate Dems' pending cave in the government shutdown, ripping it as "malpractice" and a betrayal of the people who are "counting on us to fight for them." Sherrill knows what drove her victory. Wake up, Dems.

There was nothing on recessions, abuses of power, or corruption because healthcare was going to take center stage.

But then they caved on healthcare anyway.

There is no right any of us hold that they wouldn’t trade away to avoid a minor inconvenience.
