Researchers have broadened the spectrum of available bioluminescence colors.

We built on the @openflexure.bsky.social platform to combine a 3D printed microscope chassis with both a 3D printed condenser and objective lens.

Now we have the entire microscope, including the optics, printed for less than £7.00… and it works!

1/6 🧵 I'm building what might be the smallest #opensource #spectrometer with an easy to use UI! I call it a pocket spectrometer. Combining #M5StickC (~$20) with AS7341 sensor (~$16). My goal? A complete spectrometer that is barely larger than a sample cuvette itself.
