unpopular stance: ACAB includes Scully but not Mulder, because there's absolutely no way Fox Mulder understands what the law really is or that his job is to enforce it. he has less capacity for moral cognition than a K9 unit.

i love both of these games so much. they're short enough for a nice afternoon, and full of humor, love, beautiful stories, and cows in space.

this is why i'm such a fan of #degrowth. capitalism is an inherently unsustainable economic system, and it WILL run us all off a cliff eventually. the longer we wait to decouple from endless growth, the more catastrophic the fall becomes. none of what's happening is a surprise.

this is why i'm such a fan of #degrowth. capitalism is an inherently unsustainable economic system, and it WILL run us all off a cliff eventually. the longer we wait to decouple from endless growth, the more catastrophic the fall becomes. none of what's happening is a surprise.

and also, if an AI "helper" app recommends that you to double-check its results and send feedback (which most of them do) it's NOT actually about helping you. it's about you being conned into doing all their data gathering and QA testing for them. they're grifting to enable better exploitation.
