Let this sink in—the head of the EPA has now labeled climate science as “religion”, and reframed the purpose of the EPA to “lower the cost of buying a car… and running a business”—the ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY!

That’s where we are now.

folks, if they deported people during the break in the hearing about deporting exactly these people, we’re in completely lawless territory.

if the government can engage in irreparable harm while the judge is hearing argument, there’s no real process left.
UPDATE: Lawyer for govt, Drew Ensign, cited 'grave national security issue' in declining to discuss current state of the deportations in a public hearing, so judge took it private. But looks like one El Salvador-bound flight took off during a break in the hearing www.flightaware.com/live/flight/...

It's hard to overstate how much this show ruled, and how much this era of weird TV, along with Sealab 2021 and Aqua Teen Hunger Force, shaped my comedic brain, for better or worse.

Acting deputy attorney general Emil Bove assembled DOJ's remaining public corruption prosecutors this morning and gave them an hour to find someone to sign the Eric Adams dismissal.

One of them agreed to do it, to spare the others from potentially being fired.

“We’re supposed to stop everything we’re doing and do whatever the DOGE kids ask… It feels dirty and illegal.”
