"We will not be driven by fear into an age of unreason, if we dig deep in our history and our doctrine, and remember that we are not descended from fearful men — not from men who feared to write, to speak, to associate and to defend causes that were, for the moment, unpopular.” - Edward R Murrow
I’ve owned a home since 2005. Never once was a damn fire hydrant mentioned as a factor in my insurance rate.
Markwayne Mullin: "Reward people for being healthy. Think about this. Healthcare is the only industry that you're not rewarded for taking care of your responsibility. If you think about homeowners insurance, if you're within 500 feet of a fire hydrant, your insurance goes down."

They didn't get mortgages.
BARTIROMO: How do illegals get a mortgage?

SCOTT TURNER: Well, Maria, you know, during the Biden administration, there were over 12m illegal aliens that came over the border, straining our housing supply

New Marist generic ballot poll

I remember doubt when State Navigate and YouGov dropped their Virginia polls showing Dems up big

No New Jersey polls were even close to actual outcome

Probably entering a volatile political environment so good to keep open mind

I want to lay down a few markers here for folks as the clock starts ticking down to the release of the Epstein Files.

1) You are going to learn about a lot more disgusting and sickening things people said, joked about and maybe even did. You will likely be disappointed in someone you had admired

Salazar has kids. I wonder if she would be OK with Trump calling them piggy.
GOP Rep. Salazar won't criticize Trump calling a woman reporter "piggy" -- "President Trump is a very different type of politician. But I always say I look at his policies and not his personality. Nobody is perfect."

Too bad. You own this.
GOP Rep. Salazar: "Talking about Charlotte -- 200 people in 48 hours were arrested. 70% of them did not have a criminal record according to DHS. That's a mistake ... do not touch the lady who has been here for 10, 20 years contributing to the economy ... that is why those people are protesting"

Hmmm, how many whistles should I get …
Kristi Noem is mad that protesters are blowing whistles at ICE agents.

Then they came for WB'ers & their lawyers, but I didn't speak out bc I was neither

Then they came for me & no one was left to speak out.

Trump doesn’t really do retail politics. He might do a 3 minute drop into a cafe in little Havana when in Florida, but it’s not his thing.

He is a germaphobe, he doesn’t do small talk, and he doesn’t want to get into the weeds of people’s problems.
Jesse Watters on Fox is encouraging the WH to send Trump all over the country to cattle ranches and other retail politics locations to campaign on affordability.

If you’ve seen his travel schedule this year, idk if they’re gonna be down for that, given Trump’s present condition

We fought a war to ensure we could ask insubordinate questions of our own leaders, to say nothing of foreign monarchs.
Q: Why wait for Congress to release the Epstein files? Why not just do it now?

TRUMP: It's not the question that I mind. It's your attitude. I think you're a terrible reporter. It's the way you ask these questions. You start off with a man who's highly respected asking him an insubordinate question
November 18, 2025 at 6:16 PM
He’s in our White House, old man. We’ll say whatever we want.
Trump suggests Khashoggi had it coming: "You're mentioning someone that was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about. Whether you like him or didn't like him, things happen. But he knew nothing about it. You don't have to embarrass our guest."
November 18, 2025 at 5:59 PM
You work for us, asshole.
Trump: "I'm sitting here. You're with a future king. A man who is respected by everybody. A man that doesn't have to be doing this, really. I don't have to be doing it either. And yet we're sitting here taking questions and there's never been transparency like this. It's sort of wonderful."
