I mentioned that I wouldn't mind having a quiet Christmas this year. Travelling between my family and my in laws and balancing how much time we spend where is a little draining (mostly because of my folks).

The spiritual path I'm walking has a lot of fun crossover. I've learned that during the "dark days" between Samhain and Yule, the focus is on turning inward. There is a focus on divine solitude, of going into the cauldron/the tomb, so to speak. It's a time of rest, but not inactivity. Anticipation.
